During the meeting, UCC GAA BOD Chair Conrado Ulpindo and VP Emma Cacayorin Perry remarked on how could UCC tap on other alumni unreached as of this time for the renewal of their commitment to the College and be part of the project, which the College President affirmed.
“Yes. Surely UCC will be looking into this, now that we have an alumni affairs office under the leadership to Mr. Teofilo Damoco, who is now with us to take note of the recommendations of the body on alumni matters.”
The College President also personally acknowledged the receipt of the US $9000 from the UCC GAA on July 7. This amount completes the association counterpart of $25,000 for the second phase of the project.
The meeting was also an avenue for all present alumni about the upcoming 4th UCC Global Alumni Association Reunion in East Hanover, New Jersey on October 6-8, 2023.
This is also an opportunity to call all alumni who are able to join and support in the occasion in the name of Union Christian College.
In the conversation of Ms. Estrella and Mr. Damoco after the meeting, they expressed similar thoughts that the executive officers need to meet for the Phase 2 of the project and to consult further the College President on this pending work.
Ms. Omega Camacho, the UCCIAA Treasurer, though she was unable to attend the meeting, relayed to Mr. Damoco that she is preparing the comprehensive financial report of the Phase One for all the UCC administration and UCC-GAA information.
