Former SHeS SBO Governor and an alumni of BSN class of 2019 has passed the NCLEX and is now a USRN

Ms. Jowana Oribio, RN, USRN is a UCC BSN Class of 2019 alumna. She took the NCLEX in November and passed it, adding four letters to the end of her name. According to NCLEX amplified, her review center, the total number of exam items was 75, and she passed the exam on November 12, 2022. Ms. Oribio shared her journey as she reviewed and prepared for the NCLEX, she quoted on her testimony at NCLEX Amplified that, “𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀, 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀. 𝗔𝘀 𝗜 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆. 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲.”
She also shared a bible verse from Jeremiah 29:11 that she keeps close to her heart as she strives to become a USRN: “𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.”
With her delightful heart, she ended her testimony with a very happy soul fufilled with what she have achieved, “𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗢𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗢, 𝗨𝗦𝗥𝗡! -𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿!
