Congratulations to our May 2026 CPALE Passers!

Your JIFA-UCC family is incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Passing the CPA Licensure Examination is not an easy achievement, especially with the national passing rate of 30.83%. Through your hard work, determination, sleepless nights, and sacrifices, you have successfully reached this important milestone. Your success is a reflection of your perseverance, dedication, and commitment to your goals. You have shown that with faith, patience, and continuous effort, dreams can become reality. May this achievement serve as the beginning of even greater opportunities and successes in your professional journey. Thank you for bringing honor and pride to our UCC community. Your accomplishment inspires fellow students to work harder and continue pursuing their dreams. Long live the UCC spirit! To those who took the examination but did not pass this time, please remember that your efforts were never wasted. The CPALE is a challenging journey, and not passing does not define your worth or potential. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become stronger. Take this time to rest, reflect, and prepare for the next chapter of your journey. Keep believing in yourself and never lose sight of your goal. Success may take time, but with determination and perseverance, it will come. No matter the result, JIFA-UCC is proud of all of you for having the courage to take the challenge. Keep moving forward, and never stop believing in your ability to succeed. Your time will come. โœจ๐Ÿ’› #May2026CPALE #UCCProud #TatakJIFAns #LongLiveTheUCCSpirit #CPANaAko See less

Union Christian College marks a significant milestone as this year's batch of BS Computer Science and BS Information Systems students took the 13th TOPCIT (Test of Practical Competency in ICT)โ€”an international assessment that measures real-world ICT competencies, including problem-solving, system thinking, and practical application in software, data, and IT processes. Unlike traditional exams, TOPCIT does not follow a pass-or-fail system. Instead, it evaluates examinees based on competency levels (1โ€“5) derived from a total score out of 1,000. In academic and industry practice, Level 3 (Competent) is widely recognized as the minimum professional benchmark, indicating readiness to address and solve typical technical and business problems expected of university graduates. JESICS proudly recognizes the TOPCIT achievers: Level 3 โ€“ Competent โ€ข Kathleen Mae Laurido Level 2 โ€“ Advanced Beginner โ€ข Anna Trixie D. Alfon โ€ข James Albert N. Cabrera โ€ข Vincent C. Faustino โ€ข Carol Ann M. Mendoza โ€ข Angel Samantha M. Morales โ€ข Gabrielle Anne E. Peralta โ€ข Nicole C. Swinburn These results reflect varying stages of competency development, highlighting both professional readiness and areas for continued growth. Achieving Level 3 signifies practical โ€œpassingโ€ in industry terms, while Levels 1โ€“2 remain valid indicators of progress and learning potential. This historic participation affirms UCCโ€™s commitment to outcomes-based ICT education and the preparation of students for real-world professional challenges in the digital field.
