FROM THE MOUNTAIN TO OUR HEARTS: UCC AND PIKP CELEBRATE INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE THROUGH STORYTELLING

Union Christian College, in partnership with Partners for Indigenous Knowledge Philippines (PIKP), proudly presents the launching of “From the Mountain to Our Hearts: A Story of the Bago Tribe for Our Children” on October 9, 2026, at the UCC Conference Hall, 4th Floor, Capistrano Building. More than the launching of a story, this gathering is a celebration of Indigenous knowledge, culture, identity, and the power of storytelling to connect generations. It reminds us that the stories of our Indigenous communities are living treasures—carrying the wisdom of our ancestors and helping young people understand the richness of their heritage. Joining the event are Rev. Dr. Ferdinand A. Anno of Union Christian College, Jill Cariño of PIKP, and Atty. Arthur K. Herman of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP). As the story journeys from the mountains to our hearts, may it inspire us to listen, learn, preserve, and pass on the knowledge and traditions that make our communities and our nation beautifully diverse. Come and be part of this meaningful celebration of story, heritage, and Indigenous knowledge. #UnionChristianCollege #UCC #IndigenousKnowledge #PIKP #BagoTribe #FromTheMountainToOurHearts #IndigenousPeoples #CulturalHeritage #Storytelling #Education #LaUnion
